The Shaolin monastery, founded in the year of AD 477, is basically considered as the birth place of kung fu, even though the history of kung fu travels beyond 1000 BC. Shaolin temple is also famous since it was the birth place of Chan or Zen Buddhism.

Shi Yong Xin is being criticized many times for being commercializing shaolin temple and leading a material life. Many people consider Shi Yong Xin as a government appointed person to reap the most out of the shaolin temple.

The authorities of the Shaolin temple have told that they have called the police for investigation. But Abbot Shi Yong Xin later told that shaolin would not go legally against the unlawful action of the attackers. He told that the shaolin temple should concentrate on the Buddhist disciplines, and not upon actions like filing lawsuits against criminals.

When I tried to start this blog, I thought I should have the first post a significant one. I thought of many things like the meaning of Kung Fu salute, yin yang etc. But, at last I decided, … It should be a post regarding Martial arts Legend Bruce lee, as a tribute for his contribution to the world of martial arts. Through out the years, I haven’t seen a better martial arts spirit than what I have seen in his face …
